Integrated resource center

Programs

Education, connection, service, and opportunity to strengthen Cuban individuals, families, and communities.

Integrated services for the whole family.

Fundación Renacer Cubano is designed as a comprehensive family resource hub where Cuban families can access mental health support, English classes, employment assistance, cultural programming, youth mentoring, parent workshops, senior support, and community celebrations.

By offering interconnected services under one organization, we aim to strengthen long-term engagement and respond to the diverse needs of the whole family.

01

Health and emotional wellbeing

Culturally responsive mental health education, psychoeducational workshops, support groups, resilience initiatives, wellness programs, and community outreach, with emphasis on prevention and early intervention.

02

Education and workforce development

English learning through community partnerships, workforce readiness, professional development, financial education, digital literacy, and access to resources that help participants build stable and productive lives.

03

Family and community strengthening

Healthy relationships, parent education, caregiver support, youth and intergenerational engagement, volunteering, leadership, and opportunities for meaningful community participation.

04

Cultural heritage and civic engagement

Art, music, history, language, cultural celebrations, and civic engagement to preserve Cuban heritage and strengthen participation in the broader American community.

05

Humanitarian assistance and community navigation

Referrals and partnerships that connect families with housing, healthcare, legal and immigration resources, food security, education, employment, and other essential supports.

06

Research, innovation, and impact

Needs assessment, outcome measurement, and applied research, including a planned initiative with approximately 500 adult Cuban immigrants who arrived within the last five years.

Research and evaluation

A flagship initiative with approximately 500 participants.

The planned evaluation will measure psychological wellbeing, anxiety, depression, resilience, social connection, quality of life, and community integration to improve programs, demonstrate outcomes, and contribute knowledge about culturally responsive interventions.

Strategic goals 2026–2029: develop the family resource center, launch culturally responsive programs, implement the 500-participant initiative, expand partnerships, diversify funding, and become a recognized center of excellence.
